The Darlington Arts Festival is a free, annual celebration of art and community in the Perth Hills. As a committee member, I design the festival's print materials and help artists with theirs.
The festival
What started in the 1950s as a fundraiser linking local artists with the volunteer bushfire brigade has grown into one of Perth's longest-running community festivals: an exhibition in Darlington Hall and a fair on the oval next door.
My part
I design the festival's print materials and act as a consultant for artists, helping them design their own festival materials so the whole event looks its best.
